Johan Cruyff has died 1947-2016

johan-cruyff-holland_3366893Dutch Soccer Legend Johan Cruyff, who made history with clubs like Barcelona, Ajax, and the Netherland National team has died at the age of 68 this Thursday losing a battle to lung cancer.

Cruyff won three European championships with Ajax as a player, and once with Barcelona as a coach. He was named European player of the year three different times, and in 1999, was named Europe’s best player of the 20th century.

The Dutch footballer scored 392 goals in 520 games over 19 years of playing, and as a coach he had 242 victories in 387 matches with 75 draws and 70 losses.
